This Privacy Policy describes how Carousel Maker ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our AI-powered Instagram carousel generator Telegram bot ("the Service").

2. Information We Collect

When you use the Service, we collect the following data:

• Telegram User ID and Username — to identify your account and manage your subscription.
• Text Content — articles, notes, or other text you send to the bot for carousel generation.
• Uploaded Files — TXT, Markdown, or PDF files you send for processing.
• Instagram Access Token — if you choose to connect your Instagram account for direct publishing.
• Subscription & Payment Data — plan type, usage counters, and Paddle subscription ID.

3. How We Use Your Data

• Text content is processed by AI (Anthropic Claude) solely for generating carousel slides. Your text is not stored permanently after generation is complete.
• Instagram access tokens are stored in encrypted form and used exclusively for publishing carousels on your behalf.
• Telegram user data is used to manage your account, track usage limits, and provide customer support.
• Payment information is processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We do not store your credit card details.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — text content is sent to Anthropic's API for carousel generation. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• Paddle — payment processing is handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
• Instagram / Meta — if you use the direct publishing feature, carousel images are sent to Instagram's API on your behalf.

5. Data Storage & Security

• User account data and subscription information are stored in a secure database.
• Instagram tokens are encrypted at rest.
• Text content submitted for generation is processed in real-time and is not retained after slide delivery.
• Generated carousel images are stored temporarily for delivery and are deleted after 24 hours.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of all your data.
• Disconnect your Instagram account at any time.
• Cancel your subscription at any time.

7. Cookies

Our landing page does not use cookies or tracking scripts. The Telegram bot does not use cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
